Locally grown organic food

Whilst visiting the offices of my son's therapist the other day, I saw a flyer on Two Small Farms laying amidst all the other literature laid out for us parents. This one caught my eye and so I went online to check them out. It is really fascinating and fits along the lines of the objective of this blog so I am helping spread the word.

Taken from their website:

Two Small Farms is a collaboration between High Ground Organics and Mariquita Farm in Watsonville and Hollister. They grow organic specialty vegetables, greens, strawberries, flowers, and herbs for their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members in Santa Cruz County, Monterey County, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley.
By joining the CSA, you will experience a wide variety of farm fresh organic produce throughout their growing season. Every week you can pick up a generous share of seasonal produce at any one of their several convenient locations. Their regular season will begin end of March 2008.

Check out http://www.twosmallfarms.com/ for more information and they also have a blog at http://twosmallfarms.blogspot.com/
